Training of Trainers - 5-day course
Whether dealing with technical or theoretical topics, people learn most effectively when they are actively engaged. Despite efforts from both trainers and learners, it is common in many courses for the trainer to be the most involved person in the room, while the learners often become passive listeners, which diminishes their participation and engagement.
Effective Training: Encouraging Active Learning in the Classroom
The basic from the course starts with how people learn and how to adapt to respective audiences and the purpose of a training, either theoretical, practical or coaching. All steps from creating learning goals towards creation and execution are taken in the course. Each five day course end with an practical assignment including an assessment.
Depending on the wishes of the participants, we focus more on classroom training, one-to-one coaching situations and teaching/ coaching styles appropriate in real situations. For a detailed syllabus, please contact us.
Why this workshop?
The train-the-trainer 5 -day course was developed after a change in regulation for trainers, mentors and assessors. Based on feedback from the course, it may also support mangers and others in their meetings and presentations.
Who attend?
The workshop is intended for teachers and trainers with experience in classroom training. Anyone interested in teaching or training is encouraged to participate. Managers, supervisors, assessors, and others have benefited from this training, improving their effectiveness in meetings, assessments, and communication.
